Iceberg lettuce is our highest volume crop at T&C Do & Son – we supply over half a million crates of iceberg lettuce to our trade partners annually.
To ensure optimal quality and freshness, all our lettuces are hand-picked at harvest time by a dedicated team. After harvest, the outer leaves of each lettuce are washed with clean, chlorine-treated water before being transferred to our temperature-controlled packing shed for processing and distribution.
