At T&C Do & Son, quality and safety are our priority and we pride ourselves on growing our produce to the highest standards.
We are committed to maintaining rigorous standards throughout the entire production process. From planting through to harvest and processing, we observe exacting quality control procedures to ensure all of our produce is grown to the highest standards and arrives with our customers in premium condition.
Soil condition and water quality testing is routinely conducted before crops are planted and every stage of the growing process is carefully monitored. When each is crop is ready for harvest, it is hand-picked by a dedicated team who understand the quality parameters for each individual vegetable.
Once crops are harvested, food safety procedures are observed through the entire process of preparing each product for transport, including temperature control and the use of protective equipment such as hats and gloves as well as strict hygiene protocols. Our packing team is well-trained in these procedures, ensuring full compliance at all times.
At T&C Do & Son, quality is as important to us as it is to our trade partners. We take a rigorous approach to quality and safety and are responsive to new developments in quality assurance.
We are HACCP accredited and compliant with SQF 8 and the Harmonised Australian Retailer Produce Scheme (HARPS), following our most recent audit in January 2018. We are committed to upholding these safety and quality standards and to maintaining strong relationships with our trade partners.
We are also accredited under the Interstate Certification Assurance (ICA) Scheme so can supply our produce to the eastern states where required.
